Ledbury - Opening Weekend

Two years after selling our old Victorian building on Ledbury’s Homend, we are now able to celebrate the official opening of our new home in Bye Street, in the town centre. And, covid-rules permitting, we look forward to letting townsfolk have look round on Saturday 31st July.

The church will be open from 10am to 4pm for people to drop in, have a look around, and to stop for a drink. Numbers in the building will be limited, so you may need to wait for someone else to leave before you can go in.

On Sunday 1st August, we will be holding two services to celebrate the opening.

At 10.30am, Jude Levermore, Head of Mission for the Methodist Church of Great Britain, will be leading worship.

Later in the afternoon, our own minister, Rev Phil Warrey will be the preacher.

We will need to limit numbers for these services, so we ask people to book a place at one of the services, using the link below. Please choose either morning or afternoon.

Ledbury Methodist Church members made the brave decision to sell their chapel building and move into premises more suited to their mission in the 21st Century.

The final service was held on August 4th - there's more about this on our Facebook page - including a video of the service.

We have purchased and refurbished our new premises and as of 2nd May 2021 we are open for Worship on a Sunday at 10:30am.
