All are welcome in this place
- those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, gender-fluid, heterosexual, rich, poor or penniless, physically abled or struggling with mobility.
- people with PhDs and those with learning challenges· those who sing like angels, and those who just growl quietly to themselves.
- those just browsing, just woken up, or have just been released from prison.
- people over 60s, wailing babies and excited toddlers, and their parents, and teenagers growing up too fast, and their parents.
- people having problems, are down in the dumps, angry with God and those who want to celebrate and thank God.
- people who don’t like ‘organised religion’, and even those who do.· those who work too hard, those who don’t work, can’t work, or feel they aren’t very good at stuff.
- introverts, extroverts, people seeking friendship, and those preferring their own company.
- people inked, pierced, or both.
- those who could use a prayer just now, who have screwed up seriously, or who’d like to light a candle but don’t quite know why.
- those who find the whole idea of God a bit odd, who’ve been damaged by religion, who were force-fed religion as children, those who’ve wound up here by mistake, and those who have been led here by the Holy Spirit.
- pilgrims, tourists, migrants, asylum seekers, neighbours, explorers, doubters, and those who prefer to travel rather than to arrive.
You are welcome in this place because God loves you.
