Weekly Activities & Groups

St John's is more than a place of worship--it's a welcoming space where people of all ages can connect, grow, and enjoy community life together. Here are some of the regular activities you'll find at the church:

We occasionally operate a waiting list, so if you or someone you know would enjoy good company and a weekly meal out, please get in touch.

Music at St John's

Music at St John's

Music plays a vibrant role in the life of St John's, both in worship and in community events. We have a strong tradition of:

Hosting concerts and performances by local and visiting musicians
A church choir that sings at special services throughout the year

Choir practices are informal and fun -- new voices are always welcome, regardless of experience.

Singing For Fun

Singing for Fun Group

The Singing for Fun Group at St John's meets on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 7pm. We recognise that singing is good for our mental well being and we sing a variety of music. Please join us if you like to sing. You don't need to be able to read music or to have sung in a choir. All are welcome. Come to the side door and ring the doorbell.
