Herefordshire (S&E) Circuit
COVID-19 Worship

Following the announcement of an England wide lockdown our church buildings will be closed for the remainder of November and until the lockdown is lifted. In the meantime we will continue with Zoom worship. Please see our preaching plan for details of these services. Once lockdown is lifted we will resume with our re-opening plans.

To ensure that we can comply with government guidelines and social distancing, numbers will, unfortunately, be restricted. To find out what live church will be like, please click on the link for each church.

We will continue to offer online worship each week using Zoom or streaming to provide some fellowship for those unable to attend live worship. You can connect into this using your ordinary phone, computer, tablet or smart phone – our next opportunity for worship is this Sunday at 10:30am. Please contact us for the link to our Zoom services. The service is also streamed here each week.

It is possible to watch all of our previous services, together with our S Club worship and puppet songs on our YouTube channel.

Angie's COVID-19 Prayer

God of all grace, we come before you in confusion and uncertainty, perhaps not knowing what to pray, perhaps wondering whether even to pray.

But you promise never to leave us and that nothing can separate us from your love.

As we look to rest on those promises and the promise that the Sprit can intercede for us when we don’t know how to pray, we hold before you this world which you have made and love.

We pray for all affected by the Coronavirus, all those who are ill and all those who are afraid.

May they know your healing presence.

We pray for protection for all treating the sick, and pray for a breakthrough for those looking for solutions.

We pray for wisdom for all in positions of authority as they seek to make decisions to keep people safe.

We pray for those for whom self-isolation is difficult, either practically or psychologically, and for families struggling to keep children entertained.

As tensions rise, we pray for calm.

We thank you for the community spirit being shown at this time, and pray that enough people will stay well to support others.

God of hope, who works all things together for good, we ask these prayers in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
