Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals
Baptism & Baby Naming
We are very happy to conduct infant baptisms and naming ceremonies. In the Methodist Church, these services take place during a public act of worship: usually part of a Sunday morning service.
Weddings & Marriage Blessings
We would be pleased to be part of your special day. We are licenced for marriages between two persons, and can carry out blessings for both. We are licenced to conduct both different and same-sex marriage.
Funerals & Thanksgivings
At a time of loss, most people will use the services of a local funeral director, who will provide advice and organise all the practical arrangements. It is possible for our minister to officiate at the crematorium or graveside. We can also arrange a thanksgiving service in the church.
If you would like to involve the church and a local minister it is a good idea to find out if they are available before booking the time and date of the service.
